This story is your chance to share it

Horror movie fans and movie enthusiasts alike know that horror movies never end. It is only a matter how long it takes for a well-known horror villain to be retconned or revived. Let’s just pretend we aren’t there yet. Universal Pictures released Tuesday’s first trailer for Halloween ends. This is the 13th and most likely final entry to the long-running slasher franchise. Yes, Michael Myers is back.

Four years after the events in halloween kills, Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis), Laurie lives with her granddaughter Allyson. This is following the death and disappearance of Michael Myers’ daughter Karen. Laurie must once more take up arms in order to confront her long-standing adversary when a young man is charged with a brutal murder.

The trailer shows the tragic confrontation between Laurie Carpenter and Michael. It juxtaposes footage from John Carpenter’s 1978 film with clips of Laurie being choked and slammed by Michael, before finally turning the tables with a nearby cutting blade.

Halloween ends will premiere in theaters Oct. 14.
