Emilia Clarke claims that parts of her brain are missing after aneurysms

Emilia Clarke said she was in “the most excruciating pain” after two brain aneurysms. She is thankful for her recovery and the opportunity to work on “Game of Thrones” during that time.

“It was extremely helpful to have “Game of Thrones” sweep me up, and give me that purpose,” she stated during an interview on BBC’s Sunday Morning.
Actress, who suffered life-threatening aneurysms both in 2011 and 2013, said that her brain is still missing a lot.

Clarke stated that strokes are basically when any part of the brain stops receiving blood. “So blood finds another route to get around. But then what’s left is gone.”
Her brain is now completely useless, she said that it was remarkable that she can speak and sometimes articulate, but that her life continues as normal with no repercussions. That is a very, very, very small group of people who can do that.
Clarke was the Daenerys Targaryen character on the hit HBO series. He is currently playing the lead role in “The Seagull” at London’s West End.
